China Tour 20 Nights 21 Days

Day 1 Beijing

Arrive at Beijing in early morning. Our first stop is the impressive Tiananmen Square, where most of the national ceremonies are held. From the square, you can walk to the splendid Forbidden City. Upon arrival at the largest imperial palace, travelers are always impressed by the high red walls and large quantity of buildings with golden roofs. Then we walk to Coal Hill, which is a royal garden in the past where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Then we drive to Beihai Park, a former imperial Garden. After that, we head to the hotel for rest.


Day 2 Beijing

Today we first visit the fascinating Badaling Great Wall; we take the cable car up, and walk down. Then we drive to visit Summer Palace. The palace was used as the royal family’s “Palace to avoid the heat” when in summer. Drive back to hotel.

Day 3 Beijing-Xian with night train

Today morning, we visit the Temple of heaven, where the ancient emperors worship the gods, if time is early, we can see local people doing morning exercise there. Then we drive to Shichahai Hutong to visit the traditional residence of Beijing with Rickshaws, which is an old way of transportation. Then we visit Houhai area by walking, which is a part of Shichahai with many local shops, we can do some local shopping here. Evening take night train to Xian.


Day 4 Xian

Upon arrival, you will be driven to the suburb area to marvel at the powerful Qin Terra Cotta Warriors. Then we drive back to the south to visit the big wild goose pagoda, it was inscribed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The pagoda is a seven-story building, which is 64.5 meters high. It is a landmark of Xi’an, Transfer to hotel.


Day 5 Xi’an-Chengdu by G train

Today we visit South Gate Old City Wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then we go to Muslim Quarter. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque is the most famous and popular. After that, drive to train station, take high speed G train to Chengdu, transfer to hotel.


Day 6 Chengdu-Emei

Today we first visit Panda Base. The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over. In the base you’ll meet incredibly lovely pandas and baby pandas, Most people couldn’t resist. After that, drive to Leshan; The Leshan Giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya in sitting posture. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture and looks which have been beautifully captured in its solemn stillness. It is 71 meters (about 233 feet) high, and has 8.3-meter-long (about 27 feet) fingers. The 9-meter-wide (about 30 feet) instep is big enough for one hundred people to sit on and the 24-meter-wide (about 79 feet) shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground. We will only climb the mountain for visiting the big Buddha. Then we’ll drive to Emeishan for overnight.


Day 7 Emeishan-Chengdu flight to Zhongdian (Shangri-La/Diqing)

Mt. Emei is located on the south of Leshan. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious, like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. Looking its winding and beautiful figure, you will find that it resembles very much an eyebrow of a girl. It is the highest one among all the famous sight-seeing mountains in China. We’ll take cable car up to Wannian Temple, then walk to visit Monkey Area. Down from the mountain, we will drive back to Chengdu, to take flight to Zhongdian. Upon arrival, guide and driver will pick us up and drive to our hotel to rest.


Day 8 Zhongdian

Visit local morning market, Putacuo national park, which was announced on June 25, 2007, and is notable as the first national park in China to meet International Union for Conservation of Nature standards. Proceed to visit Songtsanlin monastery the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, Songzanlin Monastery, also known as Guihua Monastery, is one of the famous monasteries in the Kang region, full of treasures, there are a lot of golden figures of Buddha josses, golden lamps, Tibetan lections, silver censers and so on. All of these are wonderful collections accumulated from each dynasty, They are precious productions made by people of both Tibet nationality and Han nationality. After this, we back to Zhongdian to visit old town.


Day 9 Zhongdian-Lijiang

Morning drive to Lijiang, on the way visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is a scenic canyon on the Jinsha River, a primary tributary of the upper Yangtze River, it is part of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas World Heritage Site. After the visit, drive on to Lijaing, free at leasure in Lijaing Old town.,


Day 10 Lijiang

Today we start our tour by visiting the Lijiang Ancient Town. Lijiang City, an attractive tourist destination in Yunnan Province, is considered a fairyland blessed with fresh air, clear streams, bre a tht a k ing snow mounta ins and an undisturbed landscape inhabited by a friendly group of people. It exercises jurisdiction over four counties and an Old Town District. This is the main region inhabited by Naxi People, one of China's 55 minority ethnic groups. We will start the tour from the Morning Market in the old City, then we’ll visit the Black Dragon Pool inside the city. Then we visit Naxi Museum, which you can get to know the Dongba Culture. After that, we will go to climb up the Lion Hill and enjoy a panoramic view of the whole old city from Wangu Tower on the hill. We will also visit some local markets and shops before back to hotel.


Day 11 Lijiang flight to Kunming

Today we’ll drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers (nine miles) away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence the name. Then we’ll drive to Yuhu Village. Then we’ll drive to visit Yufeng Temple. It’s one of the Scarlet Sect lamaseries of Lijiang. The beautiful sceneries around Yufeng Temple are special gifts from the deity. The temple backs onto a snow mountain and faces a meadow. It is surrounded by the flourishing forest and a never-dried river. All this makes it a really good place to visit. After visiting the temple, we’ll drive to Baisha Village, which is about 4.9 miles to the north of Lijiang Ancient Town. It is much quieter than Lijiang Ancient City because it is not commercialized. Here you can experience the Naxi people’s peaceful daily life. In the evening transfer to Lijiang Airport for the flight to Kunming.


Day 12 Kunming flight to Guilin

Visit the Stone Forest, which is a notable set of limestone formations located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County. The tall rocks seem to pray to the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like petrified trees thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. After the visit, we drive to airport and take flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, guide and driver will pick us up and drive to our hotel to rest.


Day 13 Guilin

Today we drive to Longsheng and visit the Terrace Fields there, and also visit the Yao and Zhuang Minorities Villages, where we will see the Long Hair Show from local residents. Then we drive back to Guilin. Evening Four Lakes Scenic Spot and aboard the boat for a night tour on the lakes.


Day 14 Yangshuo

Today we first take the Li River boat cruise to Yangshuo. Along the trip you will enjoy the attractive scenery on both sides of the bank, and after arrival, you’ll be able to enjoy your stay in Yangshuo. After a rest at hotel, we drive to visit The Big Banyan Tree. It has survived wind and rain over centuries since it was planted nearly 1500 years ago. Then we’ll visit some local villages to see Moon Hill and their life-style. Then we drive back to stroll on the west street in the afternoon. In the evening we drive back to enjoy the beautiful Impression Show, which is performed on Li River. After the show, we will drive back to hotel for rest.


Day 15 Guilin G train to Changsha

Today we drive back to Guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars, tourists feast their eyes on changing spots, feeling they are in a paradise where the Gods live. Then visit Elephant Trunk Hill. It’s an Elephant’s nose shaped rock extending into the river, just like its drinking water from the river. Our next stop in Guilin goes to Fubo Hill, it stands solitarily in the northeast of the city and on west bank of Li River with half of the hill stretching into the river. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks, hence the name "wave-subduing Hill". Then we will transfer to train station for high speed train to Changsha. Upon arrival, the guide and driver will pick us up and transfer to hotel in Changsha.


Day 16 Changsha-Zhangjiajie

Drive to Zhangjiajie city, full day visit Tianmen mountain. Take cable car up to the mountain, visit Tianmen caves, Tianmen temple, Glass plank road. Finish all sites in mid afternoon, take shuttle bus down to the mountain foot, Drive 1 hour to hotel in Wulingyuan area.


Day 17 Zhangjiajie

Full day Zhangjiajie (Wulingyuan area). Depart hotel 8:00am, Driving 5 minutes to prk entrance, take 20 minutes shuttle bus to mountain foot, take Bailong elavator up, visit Yuanjiajie, No.1 Bridge (not glass bridge, it’s a Natural stroke arch between two mountains), Tianzi mountain, cable car down, tour finished before 18:00.


Day 18 Zhangjiajie flight to Shanghai

Complete sightseeing the Grand Canyon. Depart hotel 8:00am, driving 40 minutes to the canyon, walk through the new longest glass bridge, walk down to the valley bottom for visit (take the B route, including slide way), take cruise boat out of the valley (around 12:30). Back to Wulingyuan area, visit Xibu street. Transfer to airport and flight to Shanghai. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 19 Shanghai

Today we first visit Yu Garden including nearby Bazzars. In Yuyuan, you can see the sophisticated design and fine layout of pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters. Then we visit Shanghai Museum, which specializes in ancient art works of China, especially bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphies and paintings. After that, we will take a walking tour of Nanjing Road and The Bund to enjoy the modern view of Shanghai. Then we go to take elevator up to the TV Tower and take an overlook of the Shanghai City. After that we will visit Tianzifang area. Transfer to hotel and rest.

Day 20 Zhujiajiao – Shanghai

Today we drive to visit the beautiful Water Town of Zhujiajiao including boat cruise. Then we drive back to Shanghai to visit Jewish Quarter incl the Synagogue and French Concession. In the evening we will be entertained by the Acrobatic show at the theater. Transfer back to our hotel.


Day 21 Departure

Free time in the morning. Transfer to airport and take departure flight back home
