China Tour 13 Nights 14 Days

Day 1 Beijing

Arrive at Beijing in early morning. Our first stop is the impressive Tiananmen Square, where most of the national ceremonies are held. From the square, you can walk to the splendid Forbidden City. Upon arrival at the largest imperial palace, travelers are always impressed by the high red walls and large quantity of buildings with golden roofs. Then we walk to Coal Hill, which is a royal garden in the past where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Then we drive to Beihai Park, a former imperial Garden. After that, we head to the hotel for rest.


Day 2 Beijing

Today we first visit the fascinating Badaling Great Wall; we take the cable car up, and walk down. Then we drive to visit Summer Palace. The palace was used as the royal family’s “Palace to avoid the heat” when in summer. Drive back to hotel.

Day 3 Beijing night train to Xian

Today morning, we visit the Temple of heaven, where the ancient emperors worship the gods, if time is early, we can see local people doing morning exercise there. Then we drive to Shichahai Hutong to visit the traditional residence of Beijing with Rickshaws, which is an old way of transportation. Then we visit Houhai area by walking, which is a part of Shichahai with many local shops, we can do some local shopping here. Evening take night train to Xian.


Day 4 Xian

Upon arrival, we visit South Gate Old City Wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then we go to Muslim Quarter. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque is the most famous and popular. After that, we visit Shaanxi Historical Museum, known as “the pearl of Xian, the treasury of China” Drive to the hotel for rest and refresh.


Day 5 Xi’an G train to Chengdu

Today you will be driven to the suburb area to marvel at the powerful Qin Terra Cotta Warriors. Then we drive back to the south to visit the big wild goose pagoda, it was inscribed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The pagoda is a seven-story building, which is 64.5 meters high. It is a landmark of Xi’an. Late afternoon high speed train to Chengdu, transfer to hotel.


Day 6 Chengdu-Emei

Drive to Leshan; The Leshan Giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya in sitting posture. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture and looks which have been beautifully captured in its solemn stillness. It is 71 meters (about 233 feet) high, and has 8.3-meter-long (about 27 feet) fingers. The 9-meter-wide (about 30 feet) instep is big enough for one hundred people to sit on and the 24-meter-wide (about 79 feet) shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground. We will take the cruise and also climb the Buddha. Then we’ll drive to Emeishan for overnight.


Day 7 Emeishan-Chengdu

Mt. Emei is located on the south of Leshan. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious, like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. Looking its winding and beautiful figure, you will find that it resembles very much an eyebrow of a girl. It is the highest one among all the famous sight-seeing mountains in China. We’ll take cable car up to Wannian Temple, then walk to visit Monkey Area. Down from the mountain, we will drive back to Chengdu, visit Wenshu Temple, Wangjiang Park and take a walk among the famous pedestrian street called Jinli Street, where you’ll find all kinds of delicious food and snacks that can make you slobber and forget the tastiness induced coma that fallows. The last site is for overnight.


Day 8 Chengdu-Guilin

Today we first visit Panda Base. The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over. In the base you’ll meet incredibly lovely pandas and baby pandas. Most people couldn’t resist. After that, transfer to train station for high speed train to Guilin D1833(1414/2105). Upon arrival, guide and driver will pick us up and drive to our hotel to rest.


Day 9 Guilin

Today we drive to Longsheng and visit the Terrace Fields there, and also visit the Yao and Zhuang Minorities Villages, where we will see the Long Hair Show from local residents. Then we drive back to Guilin. Evening Four Lakes Scenic Spot and aboard the boat for a night tour on the lakes.


Day 10 Yangshuo

Today we first take the Li River boat cruise to Yangshuo. Along the trip you will enjoy the attractive scenery on both sides of the bank, and after arrival, you’ll be able to enjoy your stay in Yangshuo. After a rest at hotel, we drive to visit The Big Banyan Tree. It has survived wind and rain over centuries since it was planted nearly 1500 years ago. Then we’ll visit some local villages to see Moon Hill and their life-style. Then we drive back to stroll on the west street in the afternoon. In the evening we drive back to enjoy the beautiful Impression Show, which is performed on Li River. After the show, we will drive back to hotel for rest.


Day 11 Guilin/Shanghai

Today we will learn Taichi Lesson at the Yangshuo Park. Taichi is a traditional Chinese exercise that enjoys a long history and is used to strengthen the body. Then we will drive back to Guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars, tourists feast their eyes on changing spots, feeling they are in a paradise where the Gods live. Then visit Elephant Trunk Hill. It’s an Elephant’s nose shaped rock extending into the river, just like its drinking water from the river. Our next stop in Guilin goes to Fubo Hill, it stands solitarily in the northeast of the city and on west bank of Li River with half of the hill stretching into the river. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks, hence the name "wave-subduing Hill". Then we will transfer to airport to take flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the guide and driver will pick us up and transfer to hotel


Day 12 Shanghai

Today we first visit Yu Garden including nearby Bazzars. In Yuyuan, you can see the sophisticated design and fine layout of pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters. Then we visit Shanghai Museum, which specializes in ancient art works of China, especially bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphies and paintings. After that, we will take a walking tour of Nanjing Road and The Bund to enjoy the modern view of Shanghai. Then we go to take elevator up to the TV Tower and take an overlook of the Shanghai City. After that we will visit Tianzifang area. Transfer to hotel and rest.

Day 13 Zhujiajiao – Shanghai

Today we drive to visit the beautiful Water Town of Zhujiajiao including boat cruise. Then we drive back to Shanghai to visit Jewish Quarter incl the Synagogue and French Concession. In the evening we will be entertained by the Acrobatic show at the theater. Transfer back to our hotel.


Day 14 Departure

Transfer to airport and take departure flight back home
