China Tour 8 Nights 9 Days

Day 1 Beijing

Arrive at Beijing in early morning. Our first stop is the impressive Tiananmen Square, where most of the national ceremonies are held. From the square, you can walk to the splendid Forbidden City. Upon arrival at the largest imperial palace, travelers are always impressed by the high red walls and large quantity of buildings with golden roofs. Then we walk to Coal Hill, which is a royal garden in the past where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Then we drive to Beihai Park, a former imperial Garden. After that, we head to the hotel for rest.


Day 2 Beijing

Today we first visit the fascinating Badaling Great Wall; we take the cable car up, and walk down. Then we drive to visit Summer Palace. The palace was used as the royal family’s “Palace to avoid the heat” when in summer. Drive back to hotel.

Day 3 Beijing-Xian with night train

Today morning, we visit the Temple of heaven, where the ancient emperors worship the gods, if time is early, we can see local people doing morning exercise there. Then we drive to Shichahai Hutong to visit the traditional residence of Beijing with Rickshaws, which is an old way of transportation. Then we visit Houhai area by walking, which is a part of Shichahai with many local shops, we can do some local shopping here. Evening take night train to Xian.


Day 4 Xian

Upon arrival, we visit South Gate Old City Wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then we go to Muslim Quarter. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque is the most famous and popular. After that, we visit Shaanxi Historical Museum, known as “the pearl of Xian, the treasury of China” Drive to the hotel for rest and refresh.


Day 5 Xi’an-Suzhou by night train

Today you will be driven to the suburb area to marvel at the powerful Qin Terra Cotta Warriors. Then we drive back to the south to visit the big wild goose pagoda, it was inscribed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The pagoda is a seven-story building, which is 64.5 meters high. It is a landmark of Xi’an. Evening take night train to Suzhou.


Day 6 Suzhou

Arrive at Suzhou, visit Grand Canal, which serves as the most convenient traffic web that covers the whole city and linked the majority of Suzhou attractions; after that, we visit the Master of the Nets Garden, which is the one with most artistic features and cultural values. It is a typical private garden composed by residence and gardening, recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to a silk factory. After the visit, transfer to hotel.


Day 7 Suzhou - Shanghai

Today we drive to Shanghai, on the way we visit Tongli Water Town, which is characterized by stone bridges and well preserved ancient architecture including private gardens, temples and houses. After the visit, drive to Shanghai. In Shanghai, we first visit Yu Garden including nearby Bazzars. In Yuyuan, you can see the sophisticated design and fine layout of pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters. Then we visit the Bund to enjoy the modern view of Shanghai and go to take elevator up to the TV Tower and take an overlook of the Shanghai City. After that, transfer to hotel and rest.


Day 8 Shanghai

Today we drive to visit the beautiful Water Town of Zhujiajiao including boat cruise. Then we drive back to Shanghai to visit Shanghai Museum, which specializes in ancient art works of China, especially bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphies and paintings. After that, we will take a walking tour of the famous Nanjing Road. Transfer back to our hotel.


Day 9 Departure

Transfer to airport and take departure flight back home
